#traxxas TRX4 Sport -- on slippery surfaces
After a few days of rain, the weather was finally good enough to drive again. The surface, on the other hand, was still quite slippery and the tires were struggling.

My Inside F5J flown in the onboard view in May 2024 on the Tannenalm in Zillertal/Austria. The thermal conditions were not optimal, but with the camera on the wing the thermal performance of the glider is minimal anyway.

There is no debate, both the TRX4 and the SCX10 are great cars that perform really well off-road. In the end, it depends on the driving skills as to which of the cars will get through better.

The Hacker Cloud 1.5 on the airfield of the Gasthof Stockenbaum in Austria. The paraglider has been extended with a pilot dummy and it flies with 3S 500mAh Lipo.

Both the Axial SCX10III and the Traxxas TRX4 perform excellently in a direct comparison. In the end, personal taste should really contribute to the purchasing decision. Both are a lot of fun and both of them only really get great after installing a brushless combo. Hobbywing combos are installed in the models seen here.

Night flight with my Slope Infusion from Höllein (green CNC) which is equipped with many RGB LEDs. Different colors and flashing intervals can be switched from the transmitter. The model looks even better when it is really dark, but then the camera has problems with the focus.

First major trip with the new 3D printed trailer. The trailer does well behind the TRX4 and lies well on the "road" even in rougher terrain. The plastic leaf springs require some weight in the trailer so that they can work well.

My Willys Jeep driving through the autumn forest. The late sun and the foliage provide wonderful colors and the Willys does really well. The car is equipped with a Hobbywing Fusion Combo driven with 2S Lipo. The rest is stock except for the numerous scale details.

.and have you seen the Mad Lizard stuff, he does a wicked 3rd servo option for in the fly control of nozzle / thrust to change the trim to the water (flat/ rough)

@@peita1979 it adds another level but get yourself a set of trim tabs and headlight mounts at the same time if nothing else so you have them as spares given the stock items are the first to break but keep up the great videox

Hi, das sind Eigenbauten, gehören aber nicht uns. Die Modelle wurden von anderen Gästen auf der Tannenalm geflogen und wir durften und das Spektakel ansehen.

Hi, keine Ahnung, ob es die selben Leute/Fliegerchen sind, aber schau mal beim MFC Crawinkel vorbei. Dort fliegen sie ebenfalls solche Drachen mit Beleuchtung 😊
That rock jetty is throwing an interesting rotor that really opens up the useable sky. Not just the lift typical at the slope face.
Thank you for your comment and for supporting my channel. It is always a great experience to fly on a slope in the updraft. Small, maneuverable models are just as much fun as large, sluggish floaters.
You had a good flow going, this has to be one of the best examples of freestyling a slope. I try to describe how the way we fly is different. It’s like skating a giant air-bowl 😂. It’s a whole lot more responsive and dynamic than folks think 👍

Tja, laut dem Besitzer ist es ein Swift. Gefühlt gibt es Swift und Stingray grade von jedem Hersteller in unterschiedlichen Größen.
Ich denke es wäre an der Zeit da auch Mal hinzufahren.
Wir haben es vergangene Woche auch mal "getestet" und werden definitiv wieder kommen.
First rc car I ever seen was in Japan early 70s...it had a little nitro motor in it with foam tyres...it was in a car park...it effect me that much that while I was in a plane travelling to who knows where that I thought that the cars on the ground were these little cars,so I proceeded to go to the door of the plane to jump out of the plane to get my toy car...to a small kid they definitely looked the samel to me...thats when I discovered that planes had seat belts that were hard to get out of also...bring back the good old days...please...
